Alicia Sullivan
Alicia Sullivan City Councilwoman | Laurens District 2 Elected by the people in 2016 and again in 2025 (write-in), Alicia Sullivan is a servant leader—called to lead and committed to change. She first stepped into office after recognizing the absence of leadership and advocacy for the overlooked and underserved districts of Laurens. Refusing to remain silent, she took on the responsibility to seek support. When that support didn’t come, she began organizing grassroots fundraising efforts to provide her community with access to basic capital project needs. Though met with political isolation and personal attacks, Alicia stood firm. After two years away and many prayers, she received a clear and simple directive: "Alicia, go to Laurens and lead District 2." And she answered that call. Now back in office, Councilwoman Sullivan continues the fight for equity, inclusion, and informed communities—championing greater civic engagement, transparency, and accountability in local government. 📍Her mission is clear: educate citizens about how local government works, improve voter turnout, and increase public participation in monthly council meetings. She is led by faith, powered by the people, and driven by the unwavering belief that true leadership starts with service—especially when no one else is willing to show up.
